Hi there! We're the Reed family — Erik, Baylee, and our two boys, Calhen and Mattis.
Welcome to Wild Apple Homestead
Where we're building a simple, intentional life rooted in family and good food.
Our journey started with a dream: to raise our kids with hands in the dirt, hearts in the kitchen, and minds full of curiosity. We believe in learning by doing — whether it's homeschooling our boys, baking from scratch, canning food for the pantry, or figuring out how to turn a small plot of land into something sustainable.
We don't come from a farm background. We're learning as we go — growing what we can, cooking what we have, and sharing what we're figuring out along the way. Our kitchen is always full of laughter (and messes), our table is where we gather, and our YouTube channel is our way of inviting you in.
We're not perfect, not polished, and not trying to be. We're just a real family, working hard to build a life that matters — one small step, one homemade meal, and one wild apple at a time.
